Parking Information: Parking available along Orr Road More Information: Mississauga s Award-Winning Maple Syrup Festival The sweet smell of maple syrup mingled with wood smoke, the sounds of jinglingsleigh bells and the crackling fire will fill the air around Bradley Museum during March Breakwith the return of the annual maple syrup season and Mississauga s own maple syrup festival Maple Magic! Since 1993 the Bradley Museum has been conducting maple-related school programsand public activities in and around the grounds of the historic 1830s farmhouse. Through theuse of displays, demonstrations, hands-on activities and ample opportunities to taste and buy,you too can discover the magical process of transforming sunshine into golden maple syrup. From March 12th to the 20th, Bradley Museum offers Mississauga s own maplesyrup festival! Enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides and pancakes served daily in our Log Cabin, alongwith guided tours, kids crafts, free samples and more. Oversize outdoor board games willprovide lots of fun for family. On the weekends soar up into the air in a ForestryDivision bucket truck all this in addition to learning about maple syrup production past andpresent. Don t miss the Sweet Water Camp, a recreated First Nations campsite where youcan learn about the lore and legends surrounding the first discovery of this marvellous sugarwater that oozes out of maple trees. Maple Magic runs both weekends of the March Break the 12th, 13th, 19th &20th between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm and weekdays from 12:00 to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday, March14th to 18th. Monday March 14 th is also Grandparents Day so bring yourgrandkids out for an afternoon of fun. Free Activity Passes to any Mississauga recreationcentre will be issued to the first 100 grandparents who come with grandkids in tow! ThursdayMarch 17 th will be Green Day in celebration of St. Patrick s Day so we encourageeveryone to come dressed in green and join in on the festivities. Friday March 18 th will highlight Earth Hour celebrations and will also present a meet and greet session with author, D.M. Bileski based onher children s book 'Danny in a Newfangled World'.
