Intro to LGBTQ Health Service Providers

Intro to LGBTQ Health for Service Providers Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer people have many of the same health concerns as anyone else, but cultural differences and the impact of homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia mean that these health needs may be experienced quite differently. LGBTQ people also do not have the same access to health care that many others take for granted, as they often face barriers when attempting to access health care. This session is aimed for service providers such as physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers and frontline staff.
