MiWay at the PEYA Amazing Green Race Event Date(s): May 11, 2013 Duration: 11am - 5pm More Information: Location s : 6 Main locations across Mississauga and Brampton PEYA's Amazing Green Race is a one-day event across Peel Region on May 11th, 2013 to highlight and celebrate different green actions students can take with the help of PEYA to make their home, school and community more sustainable! The race challenges small teams of students to race through different "hotspots" mini-environmental workshops across the Region with the help of a customized passport showing the best transit, bike and walking paths to get there as well as educational and promotional information. These workshops include tree planting, species identification, waste-sorting, vegetable seeding and preparation, learning to use PRESTO, bike racks, transit and much more!
