Scottish Lieutenant Remembrance Ceremony

The Toronto Scottish Regiment Lieutenant Colonel Samuel G. Becket Armouries Remembrance Ceremony On November 10th at 11:00 am, the Toronto Scottish Regiment of the Canadian Armed Forces will be holding its annual Remembrance Day parade and observance at Mississauga Celebration Square. The regiment will march from Mississauga Fire Headquarters to Celebration Square where a non-denomination remembrance service will be held. The Toronto Scottish Regiment is a reserve infantry unit of the Canadian Army and it is the local regiment for the City of Mississauga.The regiment was first raised in Mississauga in 1915 and its members have served in both world wars, Afghanistan,and multiple international peacekeeping missions. The regiment returned to Mississauga in 2000 and recently moved into the Lieutenant Colonel Samuel Beckett Armouries co-located with the City of Mississauga Gary Morden Centre.
