Bike the Creek

Bike the Creek is a community event that raises awareness on the benefits of cycling and how active transportation is essential to building a healthy and sustainable community. Established in 2014, the event is planned with partners, BikeBrampton, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), City of Brampton, City of Mississauga and the Town of Caledon. This event attracts over 1000 cycling enthusiasts of all ages and engages over 50 volunteers from the community. Ride options Riders can choose from a variety of rides including the following: 6 km Family Ride (½ hour – 1 hr): Check-in at 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. 12 km Family Ride (1.5 – 2 hrs): Check-in at 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. 30 km Nature Ride (2.5 – 3 hrs): Check-in at 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. 50 km Brampton City Ride (3 - 4 hrs): Check-in at 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. 44 km and 67 km Caledon Town Ride (3 - 4.5 hrs): Check-in at 6:45 a.m. - 7:15 a.m. 61 km Brampton Mississauga Ride - (3.75 - 4.5 hrs): Check-in at 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. The starting point for the Brampton Mississauga Ride is Jim Archdekin Recreation Centre, located at 292 Conestoga Dr, Brampton, ON L6Z 3M1. There will be a BBQ lunch to follow all rides starting at 11:15 a.m. With a formal ceremony beginning at 12:15 p.m. Event Details
