Consisting of 17 amateur folklore and tambura groups from Ontario and Quebec, the Federation has 1,400 members who are second, third or fourth generation descendants and the festival has become the biggest cultural and artistic event for Croatians in North America. Enjoy a wide variety of folklore dance and singing presented by performers of all ages in authentic and colourful costumes. Many choreographies will feature the familiar sounds of the Croatian national instrument – the tambura. Our goal is to preserve and promote the beautiful, unique and rich traditions of Croatian folklore music and dance through this entertaining and exciting showcase.
