Looking to share your thoughts or hear more about the Aquitaine Avenue road safety project? Join our open house on Thursday, May 30 at Praise Cathedral Worship Centre (6785 Millcreek Drive) from 6 to 8 p.m. The project is in place along Aquitaine Avenue, from Tenth Line West to Millcreek Drive. As part of the project, the road has been modified from four to three lanes and includes protected bike lanes, along with on-street parking and a left turn lane. The project aims improve safety, accessibility and comfort for all road users – including cyclists, pedestrians and drivers. By narrowing the road, drivers tend to drive more slowly, which reduces speeding. Stop by to get information about the project, ask questions or give comments.
