Partnering with Mississauga Ringette and Mississauga Girls Hockey League , the Indigenous Hockey Equipment drive will collect gently used and new hockey equipment in a drive-thru event. Indigenous Hockey Equipment Drive (formerly known as First Nations Hockey Equipment Drive) has teamed up with a local sports charity from Oshawa, Ontario: Their Opportunity , which has assisted with planning, logistics, social media, and the online presence for the cash donations to buy new helmets and support any transportation costs. The drive-thru event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Parking Lot A2 .
