Community Dialogue Series Virtual Workshop

Climate change is making weather more dangerous and contributing to unnatural disasters like the extreme heat and flooding events of last summer. In response, the City is updating its 10-year Climate Change Action Plan (CCAP), created in 2019, and is looking to set stronger, more ambitious targets to reduce fossil fuel pollution that is causing more extreme weather events.  This is your opportunity to tell decision-makers what matters most to you as a Mississaugan. The updated CCAP will include actions that are relevant to all of us - from how we safeguard the places we love to how we invest in public transit and build neighbourhoods for our growing community. Join us for our workshop series that offers residents a more collaborative, in-depth, way to help shape the City's Climate Change Action Plan update. Each of the two workshops are offered both in-person and virtually. Anyone who lives, works, or plays in Mississauga can participate! Learn about the City's potential pathways to reduce fossil fuel pollution and engage in collaborative discussions about actions to help us achieve those pathways. Event Details
