Family Day Walkathon

Family Day Walkathon Credit Valley Hospital Peel Chapter of ICNA Canada, with support from various Mississauga based community organizations, has launched a fundraising campaign to help The Credit Valley Hospital raise $45 Million for their Lifetime of Care expansion project. On Ontario Family Day weekend families will join in the walkathon for the noble cause. Second part of the program will start at around 10:00 a.m. inside the mall with speeches from dignitaries Mayor of Mississauga Hazel McCallion and other guests and will end by 11:00 a.m. The Credit Valley Hospital CVH is currently raising funds to build a 270,000 square foot facility. This expansion will see the growth of Palliative Care Centre, Regional Maternal Child Centre and Regional Genetics and Laboratory. In addition to the expansion of these critical programs the hospital is also adding more beds to help alleviate the congestion in the Emergency Room. Our immediate target is to raise $100,000 before February 20, 2011. We need your help to achieve our targets.
