Overcoming Adversity And Making Your Dreams Come True

Overcoming Adversity and Making Your Dreams Come True Paralympic Sledge Hockey Gold Medalist, Paul Rosen, has hit the road to let the public know what it s like to go back to school at 50. The three-time Paralympian, who has struggled with literacy for his entire life, recently went back to school at Grade Learning, Ontario s largest full-service education provider. The goal: improving his elementary school level reading and writing. Today, just five months after starting class, Paul now reads at a high school level as he advanced four grade levels in his reading vocabulary and two grade levels in spelling. To celebrate his success and inspire others, Rosen has embarked on a provincial tour to share his educational journey and tell his story about overcoming fear and realizing golden opportunities to audiences of adults, youth and children.
